Delay Posting New Episodes

New episodes are not showing in timely manner. Hourly News podcast (NPR News Now) is 3+ hours behind posting new hourly episodes. Nightly podcasts which released regularly in afternoon are not posting new episodes until after 5PM. I can go to other Apps and play these daily episodes so they are available. Seems Pocket Casts has recently introduced a lag in posting new episodes. What’s changed and how to correct?

I had the same problem. Once I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, it started updating again.
P.S.
However, my app settings were lost, so I had to reconfigure them.

It seems the staff are working to resolve it. If you wait a little while, the update information should start appearing immediately, just as it did before.
I tried reinstalling the app, but the announcement stated, “Reinstalling won’t help.” So please do not reinstall it.

Hi, folks! The devs implemented a fix several hours ago, so we expect the issue to be resolved. I’ll go ahead and update the known issues pages referred to above shortly to reflect this news too.
