Feature Request: Native iPad Design for Tab Bar in Liquid Glass

  The new liquid glass tab bar design looks great on iPhones, but it is much too small (and especially narrow) for iPad screens.

  

  Can you please either make the tab bar wider and taller or implement the native iPadOS sidebar?

  @kapods22 Thanks so much for the thoughtful feedback! You’re right that the new Liquid Glass tab bar is tighter on iPad than on iPhone, and a wider layout or a native iPadOS sidebar makes a lot of sense for the bigger screen. I’ve shared this with our team, who are actively gathering feedback on the Liquid Glass update and looking at refinements. I can’t promise a timeline, but it’s been logged!

  For better unity with other iPadOS apps, it could also be more like the compact layout Apple Podcasts and Music have with the tab bar at the top and a taller, narrower currently playing section.
