First queued podcast doesn’t download

    When using the swipe-right gesture to add an episode to an empty “Up next” list, it queues the episode but does start a download. Swiping to add episodes to a non-empty list will queue the episode AND begin the download. The first queued episode should download when added to the list.

    Other Info:

    iOS client 8.7.0.3 on iOS 26.3.1(a)

    Settings > General > Row Action is set to “Download”

    Hi there! Thanks for providing additional details about the version of the app you’re using. It sounds like you’re able to add episodes to Up Next, but not all episode will start to download automatically. Is that right?

    As a first step, could you check the Auto Download settings. Go to Profile > Settings > Auto Download > Toggle on “Up Next”.

    If you continue to have issues let us know! Please send a screenshot of how the Up Next queue appears before adding an episode, and then after adding one. Or provide a screen recording. You can contact us via the app: Profile > Help & Feedback > Contact Support > Get Support.

    The Up Next auto-download setting was already toggled on and operates as expected except for this one edge case.

    When the first episode is added to the empty Up Next list, it adds to the list but does not start downloading. There is no green checkmark, indicating it has not been downloaded yet. When the second episode is added, it begins downloading immediately. The Up Next list shows the second episode has downloaded, but the first still does not have a green checkmark. Onlly after manually downloading does the green checkmark appear in the list.

    @8xkhm6phcx I was unable to replicate this issue.

    Could you replicate the issue and send us logs?

    You can follow these steps to send app logs to us from your iOS device:

    1. Navigate to Profile > Help & Feedback
    2. Scroll down and tap on “Contact Support”
    3. Tap on “Get Support”
    4. Add a description of the issue and tap “Submit”
    5. After sending the message, reply to us here to let us know that they’ve been sent.
