Hey Mike, out of curiosity, how close are you to actually considering implementing this feature?
Sample size of one here, but I was a multi-year subscriber and canceled my subscription after switching from Apple Watch to Garmin (podcasts synced to watch for workouts was my primary use case).
I don’t know how the incumbents can port their functionality to Garmin and still have such a poor podcast experience. If you can get half as much functionality on Garmin as on Apple Watch, I’ll subscribe again in a heartbeat, and I even bothered to find this forum to tell you so. 🙏

I am afraid that we no not have any updates right now, but we do have it on our ideas board.

I went ahead and created an app for Garmin. Apparently it’s much easier and faster these days. I have no plans to actually publish the app to Connect IQ, so if you want to try it you’ll need to build it yourself. The app works for me, feel free to try.

@emitwickprenatal this is very cool, thank you for sharing it.
A few notes for anyone thinking about trying it: it isn’t an official app, we haven’t reviewed it and can’t support it, it uses undocumented endpoints that can change without notice, and it asks for your Pocket Casts email and password. I’d recommend reading through the source first.
No updates on an official Garmin app. It’s still on our ideas board with the votes from this thread.
