Hands free – skip episode

Thank you for Pocket Cast I use it every day to listen to podcasts on my cycle commute.
One thing that would make it much better would be to be a hands free way to skip something on my play list and move on to the next. Perhaps a “mark as played command” or “move to bottom command” or something similar within Google assistant
I am not exactly sure what Alexa’s “next episode” voice command does, but something similar in Google assistant might be what I am looking for.

The options we support within Pocket Casts through Voice Command are available here: https://support.pocketcasts.com/article/google-now-voice-commands. I’ve added the ‘next episode’ as a feature request for our team to consider in future developments.
An alternative you could explore setting up a shortcut to do this. I’ve never tried this, but I found this article that might have good suggestions: https://www.computerworld.com/article/3678151/google-assistant-android-shortcuts.html
Features are considered by our developers for every release based on the number of requests we receive for that feature. If other Pocket Casts users also request this feature, it increases the chance of it being built.

Thank you. Google assistant shortcuts are certainly interesting. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any options to interact with PocketCasts
