Importing file from Stitcher

  Hi, Since Stitcher shut down, I am trying to import file to listen to my podcasts. I followed steps exactly, no trouble. But my podcasts didn’t load. I restarted my iPad and tried again. I deleted app and tried again. Tried from a note app instead of my email. None of those worked. Any ideas what I can try next?

  Sorry you’re having trouble with this. Since you’ve already tried the usual fixes (restarting the iPad, reinstalling the app, and importing from different sources), it sounds like the issue may be with the export file itself rather than your device.

  A few things I’d check:

  • Make sure the Stitcher export file is actually an OPML file, as that’s the format most podcast apps support for imports.
  • Try opening the file on a computer to confirm it isn’t empty or corrupted.
  • If possible, import the OPML file through the podcast app’s web or desktop version first, then let it sync to your iPad.
  • Download the export file again from the original Stitcher email in case the first download was incomplete.
  • Check whether the podcast app has any size limits or known issues with OPML imports.
