Issue with refresh of some podcasts unless going on the podcast page

Hello,
since a couple of weeks now, I noticed that some podcasts from the same provider (a french radio) do not update automatically, except if I go to the podcast page. The common point is that all of them have an episode in the app, which seems to have been pinned and appears each day with a day at today (even if red/archived).
could you please help?

Can you please share some of these podcasts with us so we can look into the issue further? From a podcast’s page in the app, you can click on the share icon in the upper-right corner of the screen, click “Copy,” and paste the share URL into your reply.
In addition, kindly share the following information with us:
- The OS and OS version on your device – you can usually find this from your phone’s Settings
- Your Pocket Casts app version – you can see this from the Pocket Casts app’s Profile > Settings (gear icon) > About

For https://play.pocketcasts.com/podcasts/3ea95a50-1f2c-012e-0258-00163e1b201c it is currently showing
Bande Annonce : Guerre au Proche Orient, le podcast de la rédaction internationale de Radio France
at the top which doesn’t match what’s shown on the podcast website at https://www.radiofrance.fr/franceinter/podcasts/geopolitique?p=3. I have updated our feed URL so it’s the exact same as the website. It looks like we may have been using an older one. This should help correct the issue.For https://play.pocketcasts.com/podcasts/de6b25f0-0998-013b-e5f8-0acc26574db2 I see that what we’re showing matches what Apple Podcasts shows at https://podcasts.apple.com/fr/podcast/zoom-zoom-zen/id1642366989?uo=4 and what their feed URL, https://radiofrance-podcast.net/podcast09/rss_23488.xml shows as well, even though that doesn’t match their website: https://www.radiofrance.fr/franceinter/podcasts/zoom-zoom-zen . In this case, because Pocket Casts is showing what’s in the feed URL the site provides, there’s not much we can do to change things. Our app will show what ever is in the feed URL provided, just like Apple Podcasts.
Finally for https://play.pocketcasts.com/podcasts/c414b6a0-0f17-0132-aa1e-5f4c86fd3263 I see the same issue. The website is displaying an episode that isn’t in their feed URL and also isn’t showing in other podcasting apps like Apple’s:

hello @staff-mobilefox. Thank you so much for taking time to look at this point. What is actually strange – and the origin of my post – is that for those podcasts, when I made a refresh of the subscribted podcast, either via the button on the profile page or the filter list, news episodes do not appear. They only appear if I go directly on each podcast page.
Isn’t there something here about the behaviour of the app itself? Do you for instance have a different call of the url in each case?

@thibaultbl2aa45a16d4 I have some updates from the developers about the issue.
They have been able to replicate this. However, the fix is not an easy one. For now, the only workaround is to unsubscribe and resubscribe to the podcast, and then the missing episodes should appear.
We know that that’s not really ideal, however, so please rest assured that we’re still working hard on finding a solution for the issue.
