Missing Automated Chapters

Hi, I recently took the decision to go all in with podcast listening using Pocket Casts, moving from Spotify. However I was surprised to realize that Pocket Casts doesn’t do automated chapters like Spotify does. I listen to podcasts that are 2 or 3 hours long. Some episodes there are long segments on topics I don’t want to spend time on and I skip it. This feature saved me so much time. Now with Pocket Casts, does anyone know when (or if?) they will introduce automated chapters?

I’ve looked at our development queue, and I do see some work underway on automatic chapter generation.
However, the feature has not been released yet, as our team is still working on it. It’s safe to say that automatic chapter generation is coming soon to Pocket Casts.

Is there any update on the automatic generation of chapters please?
I’ve noticed a LOT of podcast players are now incorporating “AI generated chapters and transcripts” as part of their “smart features” and I was wondering whether Pocket Casts were also developing something similar.
Like ‘akk0202’ has mentioned, some podcast players allow you to skip chapters via the play bar and controls. This would be greatly appreciated so much especially as most podcasts are now increasing in length.
