  Hey! The most recent update to Android 16 and OxygenOS 16 on my OnePlus13 seemed to have solved the issue FYI.

  This isn’t something we have a confirmed fix for right now, and there’s no known engineering issue on our end that matches it. The behaviour seems to be tied to how Android manages media session timeouts after a pause, and it’s showing up across a few different devices, not just Samsung.

  Since you’re on a Pixel 9a and have already tried the usual battery settings, it would help to send your app logs to the team via Profile > Help & Feedback > Contact Support, including your device model and Android version. That gives them the best chance of spotting a pattern.
