Search (AKA “Discover”) is broken

The search function in PocketCasts is terrible.
“Top Results” returns a non-sensical jumbled list.
“Podcasts” results seem arbitrary. Popular podcasts are mixed with obscure ones, and no way to sort the results.
“Episodes” is the worst. Random ordering. No way to sort by date or popularity or other criteria.
I often find myself using other methods to find podcasts/episodes and then manually search for them in PocketCasts. Why doesn’t the best podcast app for iOS also have the best Search function? -

- Examples of keywords you’ve been searching
- The results you’ve been getting
- The results you’re expecting to get
Once we have those, we can check with the devs so they can look at why we’re not pulling in the results you’re expecting.
