Transcript button stays disabled

This is just a minor annoyance, but the transcript button stays disabled and the app keeps saying there’s no transcript available while the episode is playing. I need to go to the episode details for a transcript to appear.

Thanks for reporting this! This is a known issue our team is tracking. When new episodes arrive through the background refresh, the app doesn’t always pick up that a transcript has become available, which is why the button stays greyed out.
The workaround you’ve found – opening the episode details page – is exactly the right one for now. That triggers the app to re-check for transcript availability. We know that’s an extra step, and the team is working on a fix so transcripts are detected automatically without needing that manual refresh.
We don’t have a specific timeline to share, but appreciate the report.
