Up Next behavior when their is only one episode on the list
-
The app has two different behaviors when it comes to the Up Next list.
When I play a podcast and there is more than one podcast in Up Next, the app queues the pods on the list after.
When I play a podcast and there is only one podcast in Up Next, it gets replaced by the one just started.
Because of this, I sometimes lose track of the podcasts I’ve been listening to.
My suggestion is to keep the UI behavior consistent: when a podcast is played, whatever was playing before should be queued after it, not removed from the Up Next list. Thnx

This behavior is to account for users that prefer not to use the Up Next list at all. This way, they won’t end up with a bunch of episodes in Up Next unexpectedly. However, I can see how this change in behavior can seem jarring if you’re using to using the Up Next list for listening.
We have heard from other users that would like to see an option for this. I’ve added your case to the existing feature request. I’m not able to confirm it will be implemented or offer an estimated timeframe, but our team regularly reviews feature requests like this for potential future development.
