Using Pocket Casts as a source for short-form video repurposing workflows

Hi everyone, I’ve been using Pocket Casts primarily as my main podcast listening app, but recently I’ve started experimenting with a workflow where podcast episodes are used as source material for short-form educational clips. The idea is to listen to episodes, identify strong insights or standout moments, and then repurpose those segments into short vertical videos for social platforms.

Right now my process is still quite manual: I note timestamps while listening in Pocket Casts, then extract or reconstruct those segments later for editing in free video editor for mac, where I add captions and visual elements. I’m curious if anyone here is doing something similar and has found a smoother way to track, manage, or export key moments from episodes for reuse in video content without losing context or spending too much time revisiting full episodes.
